What might a line become if it never had to stop?
Infinity Book is a wordless, 16-page book-object without a fixed beginning, ending or orientation. A continuous line moves through the illustrations, connecting each image through both form and word association. The reader can begin anywhere, rotating and turning the object to follow its changing path.

Designed for younger children, the book combines bold, recognisable drawings with an unusual physical structure that encourages handling, tracing and discovery. The illustrations were drawn in black pencil and developed using a restricted palette of black and fluorescent pink.

Six different construction methods were tested before I developed the final structure, inspired by the spokes of a bicycle wheel. The result is an object that can be opened and explored continuously, allowing the line to keep reinventing itself.
